Description CloudCube
You open the app and see a single, blank, three-dimensional cube floating in a dark space. There are no instructions, no menus, just the cube. You can touch it, rotate it, and discover that every face is a customizable panel for your comic workflow. CloudCube is not a reader; it is a modular workspace for organizing, creating, and previewing comic projects on mobile.
Core Modular Workspace
CloudCube functions as a node-based editor for comic page layouts. Each face of the cube represents a distinct workspace module:
- Page Assembly Face: Import individual panels (PNG, JPG, WebP) from device storage or cloud links. Arrange them on a virtual A4 or US Comic page template using snap-to-grid and freeform placement tools.
- Script Reference Face: Pin a text file or paste script segments directly onto the cube face. The text remains visible while you work on the opposite assembly face, enabling side-by-side script-to-panel matching.
- Preview & Export Face: Simulate the final reading experience. Swipe through assembled pages in a vertical scroll or tap-to-advance mode. Export the complete project as a single CBZ, PDF, or optimized web gallery folder.
- Layer Management Face: Control opacity, blending modes, and visibility for each panel element. Apply uniform filters (grayscale, sepia, high contrast) across all panels to test tonal consistency.
Key Advantages for Comic Creators
The cube metaphor solves a core mobile workflow problem: screen space. Instead of switching between multiple windows, you rotate the cube to access different tools without losing context.
- 3D Workspace Navigation: Pinch to zoom the cube, then drag to rotate it. Each face is a full-resolution editor. The cube state (which face is active) persists even if you close the app, so you resume exactly where you left off.
- Cloud Sync via WebDAV: Connect your own WebDAV server or S3-compatible storage. All projects sync automatically. No proprietary cloud lock-in. Work on a phone, continue on a tablet, export from a desktop browser.
- No Account Required: The app functions fully offline. Cloud sync is optional and configurable. Your data stays on your devices unless you explicitly connect a remote storage endpoint.
- Lightweight Engine: The app uses hardware-accelerated rendering for the 3D cube interface. Panels load at full resolution only when the assembly face is active, preserving battery and RAM during script editing or preview.
Export and Sharing Tools
- Batch Export: Select multiple finished projects and export them as a single CBZ archive or individual PDFs. Choose page order, add a cover page, and embed metadata (title, author, description).
- Web Gallery Generator: Export a self-contained HTML/CSS/JS folder that displays your comic in a responsive web viewer. No server required—open the index.html file in any browser.
- Direct Print Layout: Export pages with 3mm bleed marks and CMYK color profile presets for professional printing services.
Limited Offer
Exclusive access for first users: the core workspace is free for the first 30 days. After that, choose a one-time unlock for unlimited projects and export formats. No subscription required. Today only: early adopters receive the WebDAV sync module at no extra cost.
Technical Disclaimer
This app requires an active internet connection only for optional cloud sync features. In-app purchases are available for the full version unlock. CloudCube is rated for ages 12+ due to user-generated content. Data usage depends on panel file sizes and sync frequency. The app does not collect personal data or analytics. WebDAV credentials are stored locally on your device and never transmitted to third parties.
