Core Functionality and Tools

The Muezzin program operates as a dedicated prayer time calculator and notification system. It calculates the five daily prayer times (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha) using multiple calculation methods (e.g., Muslim World League, Egyptian General Authority, Umm al-Qura, University of Islamic Sciences, Karachi). You select your preferred method once in the settings menu. The app then displays the current time, the next prayer time with a countdown timer, and the full schedule for the day.
