Core Functionality: From Screen to Mailbox
Touchnote transforms your device into a personal postcard printing and mailing service. The process is built around three distinct phases: creation, personalization, and fulfillment.
Creation and Personalization Tools
- Image Selection: Choose any photo from your device’s gallery, or select from the app’s built-in library of licensed images and designs.
- Editing Suite: Adjust the selected image with basic tools: crop, rotate, apply filters, and adjust brightness or contrast to match your aesthetic.
- Text Layout: Write your message directly on the back of the postcard. The app offers multiple font styles, sizes, and alignment options (left, center, right).
- Address Entry: Input the recipient’s address manually or select from your saved contacts list. The app also supports multiple recipients for batch sending.
Offline Mode
You can complete the entire creation and personalization phase without an active internet connection. The app caches your work locally, allowing you to compose messages, edit photos, and format text offline. Once reconnected, the app automatically syncs and submits the order for printing and mailing.
Delivery and Pricing Model
- Free App, Paid Sending: The Touchnote application is free to download and use for creation. However, each physical postcard sent requires a per-card fee. This fee covers high-quality printing on premium card stock and international postage.
- Turbo Subscription (Optional): An optional subscription (Touchnote Turbo) removes all advertising from the interface and provides access to exclusive design templates, priority processing, and reduced per-card pricing for frequent senders.
No Advertising in Core Workflow
The base free tier displays ads within the app’s browsing and menu areas. Upgrading to Turbo eliminates all advertisements entirely, creating a distraction-free experience.
