Edit Video on Android Without a Computer
Many mobile video editors either oversimplify the toolset or push aggressive ads. VivaVideo solves both problems by delivering a full-featured nonlinear editing suite directly on your Android device, with an optional Turbo subscription that removes all advertisements and unlocks advanced export options.
Core Workflow: Two Entry Points
The main menu presents two distinct starting paths. You can either record new footage directly through the app's built-in camera interface — which includes exposure controls and grid overlays — or enter the editing phase immediately by importing existing videos and photos from your device gallery. If you choose the second option, a multi-select file browser lets you batch-choose clips and images before the timeline loads.
Editing Toolkit: What You Can Actually Do
After your media is loaded onto the timeline, the following tools become available:
- Precision trim & split: Cut individual clips frame-by-frame, then rearrange segments via drag-and-drop on the multi-track timeline.
- Transition library: Apply dissolve, wipe, slide, or fade effects between clips — each transition length can be set from 0.5 to 3 seconds.
- Real-time filters: Choose from over 50 color grading presets, including vintage, cinematic, and monochrome styles, with adjustable intensity sliders.
- Overlay & PIP: Layer a second video or image onto the main track, resize it, and set its opacity or blending mode.
- Speed control: Adjust playback speed from 0.1x slow-motion up to 8x fast-forward, with optional audio pitch correction.
Export & Share
Once your edit is complete, you can render the final video in resolutions up to 1080p (4K available with Turbo). The export menu includes one-tap sharing to YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok — the app will open the respective platform's upload interface directly after rendering.
