Core Gameplay Mechanics

The combat system operates on a real-time tactical grid. You control a party of three heroes, each bound to a specific time-aligned class: the Vanguard (melee tank with temporal shields), the Arcanist (ranged damage with time-slow debuffs), and the Chronomancer (support with rewind healing). Encounters are not turn-based; you must manually position your team, queue abilities, and time their cooldowns against enemy attack patterns. Each battle rewards you with Chrono-Shards, which are used to upgrade your heroes' unique skill trees.

The world map is a living timeline interface. You can view all available epochs—from the Crystalline Age to the Void Era—as branching nodes. Completing a node locks that timeline's stability, granting permanent stat boosts to your entire roster. Fail a node, and that era becomes corrupted, spawning elite roaming bosses that hunt your party across other timelines.
