Core Gameplay & Mechanics

Dungeon Valley blends real-time squad combat with town-building progression. You assemble a party from over 40 unique heroes—each with distinct skill trees, elemental affinities, and role specializations (Tank, Healer, DPS, Controller). Combat is fully manual or auto-pilot; you can tap to target specific enemies, chain abilities for devastating combos, or let the AI handle trash mobs while you focus on boss mechanics.

The dungeon system is procedurally layered. Each run generates new room layouts, trap patterns, and enemy spawns. You'll encounter environmental puzzles—pressure plates that open secret doors, exploding barrels that clear chokepoints, and crystal nodes that buff your party if activated in the right order. Between runs, you return to the valley to manage your base: upgrade the Blacksmith (unlocks tier 3–5 gear), expand the Alchemist's Lab (craft potions with stacking effects), and recruit new heroes from the Tavern (each with randomized passive perks).
