During encounters, you drag spirits onto a 3x3 grid to trigger chain reactions. Combine two Fire spirits on adjacent tiles to unleash a "Blaze Burst" that deals area damage and applies burn. Merge Water with Earth to create "Mud Bind," a status that slows enemy cooldowns by 40% for three turns.
The story progresses through node-based maps. Each node contains a narrative event, a puzzle, or a battle. Your dialogue choices during events directly modify your "Alignment Meter" (Lawful, Neutral, Chaotic), which unlocks exclusive spirits and questlines. For example, choosing to spare a corrupted guardian in Chapter 3 grants you access to the "Void Sage" spirit line — unavailable to players who attack.
