Description Fantasy Raid
Can a mobile RPG deliver both deep character progression and fast-paced combat without sacrificing one for the other?
Fantasy Raid is a polygonal-styled action RPG that places you directly into a medieval fantasy universe in chaos. The game operates on a side-scrolling battle system, allowing you to move left and right across the screen while executing a combination of one primary attack and four special abilities. Each of the three starting character classes—Warrior, Witch, and Rogue—comes with a completely distinct skill tree, meaning your playstyle shifts dramatically depending on your choice. Mastering the core mechanics of dodging and jumping is essential, as enemy patterns demand precise timing rather than brute force.
Core gameplay features and progression systems
The narrative structure in Fantasy Raid is non-linear. You can tackle missions in any order, which grants you a degree of freedom uncommon in mobile action RPGs. Beyond the main campaign, there are dozens of side quests that reveal additional lore about the universe's collapse into chaos. These quests also serve as the primary source of experience points and upgrade materials for your character. The upgrade system covers weapon enhancements, armor modifications, and skill unlocks, each requiring specific resources found only in certain mission types.
- Four active skill slots per character class – Each class has unique abilities like the Warrior's shield bash or the Rogue's shadow step, unlocked progressively through leveling.
- Side-scrolling combat with dodge and jump mechanics – Movement is limited to horizontal planes, but enemy attacks require precise timing for evasion and aerial combos.
- Branching mission progression with no fixed order – You can choose between main story quests and side objectives, affecting the order in which you unlock new areas and gear.
Technical performance and visual design
The polygonal art style keeps the visual load low while maintaining a clear distinction between character models and environmental hazards. This design choice allows the game to run smoothly on mid-range devices without sacrificing readability during combat. The UI is minimal, displaying only health, ability cooldowns, and a mini-map in the corner. There is no auto-play feature—every battle requires manual input for movement and ability timing.
