Your mission: assemble a team of quirky gnome diggers, each with a unique gadget, and carve a path through the earth to uncover the legendary Heartstone. Core Gameplay & Tools

Gnome Diggers is a tile-matching puzzle game where you control a squad of up to four gnomes, each with a distinct digging ability. The playing field is a 2D cross-section of the mine, layered with dirt, stone, gems, and ancient artifacts. Your goal is to clear a path from the entrance to the exit by matching three or more adjacent blocks of the same type. But here’s the twist: each gnome has a specific role, and you must deploy them strategically to overcome obstacles.

• Digger Gnome – Removes three dirt blocks per tap, can break through soft stone.
• Blaster Gnome – Detonates a small area of rock, shattering up to five hard blocks.
• Magnet Gnome – Pulls nearby gems and gold toward your collection zone.
• Builder Gnome – Places temporary wooden bridges over gaps and lava pits.

You combine these abilities by swapping gnomes in and out of your active team. The game introduces new block types as you descend: obsidian, which requires two blasts; crystal, which explodes in a chain reaction when matched; and trap blocks that release poison gas, forcing you to clear them quickly.
