Combat plays out on a hexagonal grid. Each turn, you drag skill icons onto the field to target zones, chain combos, or set up defensive barriers. Skills consume energy, which regenerates per turn, but you can also sacrifice a hero’s turn to charge a party-wide burst. The depth comes from timing: a well-placed Earth wall can block a Fire blast, then shatter to stun foes.
