Description Icarus M: Guild War

The Crimson Moon Rises Over Icarus

You step out of the spawn point, and the sky is already wrong. A deep, blood-red moon hangs low over the horizon, casting an eerie glow across the battlefield. The air hums with tension. You check your party—five other players, each with a unique class and a fully evolved Familiar at their side. A world boss, the size of a small mountain, stirs in the distance. This is not a tutorial. This is the opening minute of Icarus M: Guild War, a real-time, large-scale strategy RPG where every conflict is amplified by the lunar cycle and every victory demands precise coordination.

Core Gameplay & Battle Mechanics

Icarus M: Guild War is built around persistent, territory-based conflict. The game world is segmented into multiple regions, each controlled by player guilds. Your primary objective is to capture and hold these territories, which yield resources, buffs, and crafting materials. Battles occur in real-time, supporting up to 50 players per side in open-field skirmishes. The combat system uses a tab-targeting scheme combined with manual dodging and ability aiming, offering a middle ground between full auto-play and hardcore action RPG controls.

  • Skill Link Combo System: Players can bind specific abilities with party members to trigger chain attacks. When a Skill Link is active, using a designated skill on a target automatically activates a follow-up ability from a linked ally, creating a multi-hit combo with increased damage scaling. This system requires pre-battle setup and real-time communication, as the activation window for a link is only 2.5 seconds.
  • Familiar Evolution & Squad Composition: Familiars are not cosmetic pets. Each Familiar has a distinct skill tree, elemental affinity, and evolution path. You can deploy up to three Familiars in a squad, which fight autonomously but can be commanded via tactical pings (attack, retreat, or focus fire). Familiars level independently from your character and can be fused to unlock higher-tier forms, which grant passive stat bonuses to your entire party.
  • Airborne Combat Zones: Select battlefields include vertical layers. Players can mount flying creatures (acquired through guild raids) to engage in aerial dogfights. These zones feature anti-air turrets and wind currents that affect projectile accuracy. Ground-to-air attacks are possible, but only for certain classes (e.g., Archer and Mage), adding a tactical layer to positioning.

Guild Systems & Persistent Progression

The guild is the central progression hub. Joining a guild unlocks access to shared resource pools, guild-specific skill trees, and weekly boss raids that require 20 players in coordination. The Guild War mode is a scheduled event that runs three times per week, where guilds compete for control of a central citadel. Victory in a Guild War grants exclusive currency for purchasing gear with set bonuses.

  • Guild Fortress Construction: Each guild owns a customizable fortress. You can build defensive structures (walls, arrow towers, mana cannons) and utility buildings (workshops for gear crafting, stables for mount upgrades). Fortress layout is persistent between wars, and damage taken during a battle requires resources to repair.
  • Alliance & Diplomacy System: Guilds can form alliances of up to three guilds. Alliances share vision on the map and can coordinate attacks on the same citadel. However, alliances are fragile—a guild can betray its allies during a battle to claim the citadel for itself, triggering a three-way free-for-all.
  • Ranked Seasonal Leaderboards: Every two months, a new season begins. Player and guild rankings are reset, with rewards distributed based on final standings. Top 50 guilds receive exclusive cosmetics and a unique title with stat bonuses that carry into the next season.

Technical Specifications & Device Optimization

Icarus M: Guild War is built on a modified Unreal Engine 4, optimized for mobile devices. The game supports a variable frame rate (30 to 60 FPS) depending on device capability. Graphics settings include resolution scaling, shadow quality, and particle effect density. The game requires a persistent internet connection and downloads an additional 2.5 GB of assets after the initial install.

  • Minimum Device Requirements: Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher, with at least 2 GB of RAM. The game is verified to run on Galaxy S5, LG G4, and devices with equivalent chipset performance.
  • Recommended Device Requirements: Android 8.0 (Oreo) or higher, with 4 GB of RAM. Devices such as Galaxy S7, OnePlus 3T, and newer are recommended for stable 60 FPS in large-scale battles.
  • Storage & Permissions: The game requests storage access to save game data and asset files. On Android 6.0+, permissions can be managed via the device settings menu. Devices running older OS versions may require app removal to revoke access.
