"King's Court" is not a passive throne room simulator. It is a deep, strategic role-playing game where every decision you make—from managing resources to commanding troops in battle—directly determines the survival of your kingdom. You will not just rule; you will fight.

Core Gameplay Mechanics

The game is built on a three-pillar system of Governance, Conquest, and Progression.

• Governance: Manage a living kingdom. You must construct and upgrade over 20 unique buildings, including barracks, forges, farms, and a treasury. Resource chains require active management: iron ore must be mined before it can be smelted into steel for weapons. Citizens have needs that affect loyalty and tax income. Neglect your granaries, and a famine will cripple your army.
• Conquest: Engage in real-time tactical battles. You command a party of up to five heroes and their squads. Combat is not automatic. You must position your units on a grid-based battlefield, activate special abilities with cooldown timers, and exploit enemy weaknesses. Use a cavalry charge to break a pikeman line, or rain fire arrows from a distance to break a siege.
• Progression: Develop your heroes through a branching skill tree. Each hero has a unique class (Knight, Ranger, Mage, Cleric) and can equip up to six gear slots. Weapons and armor are procedurally generated with randomized stats, offering near-infinite build variety. You can forge, enchant, or salvage equipment at the blacksmith.
