Core Gameplay Mechanics

The combat system is a fusion of turn-based tactics and real-time execution. You build a squad of five characters, each with a unique role (Tank, DPS, Healer, Support), and then deploy them on a 3x3 grid. During battle, you can:
- Drag and drop any unit to any vacant cell to dodge incoming area-of-effect attacks or reposition a flanker.
- Tap and hold a character to charge their ultimate ability, releasing it at the precise moment for maximum damage or crowd control.
- Activate a global "Overdrive" mode by filling a shared energy bar, which slows down enemy movement for 5 seconds, giving you a window to execute complex combos.
- Chain skills between two characters if they are adjacent on the grid, unlocking a powerful linked attack with a 2-second invulnerability window for both.
