Description SpeedCar
What happens when your reflexes meet the asphalt at 200 km/h? Every second of delay, every missed apex, and every late shift ends your run.
SpeedCar delivers pure, unmodified arcade racing to your Android device. No story mode to skip, no upgrade trees to grind. You control the car, you choose the line, and you beat the clock. The track changes, the speed increases, and your only tool is precision.
Core Gameplay and Controls
The game runs on a physics engine calibrated for touch input. Steering uses tilt or on-screen buttons, both configurable in the settings menu. Acceleration is automatic by default, with a manual toggle available for experienced players. Braking triggers a visible tire lock animation and reduces speed by 40% per second of hold.
- Tilt steering uses the device gyroscope with a dead zone of 5 degrees to prevent accidental input.
- Button layout is fully customizable: position, size, and opacity of gas, brake, and drift buttons.
- Manual transmission mode includes a clutch button and sequential gear shift (up/down) with rev-matching indicator.
- Drift assist activates automatically when the steering angle exceeds 30 degrees at speeds above 80 km/h.
- Replay system records the last 60 seconds of any race, viewable from three camera angles: chase, cockpit, and bumper.
Track Environment and Visual Feedback
Each circuit contains 12 to 18 turns, with variable surface grip. Wet asphalt reduces traction by 25%. Off-road sections on dirt and gravel reduce grip by 40% and increase braking distance by 30%. Visual cues include skid marks that fade after 10 seconds, tire smoke at high slip angles, and a transparent speed line overlay when exceeding 180 km/h.
- Dynamic weather cycles through clear, rain, fog, and night conditions every 4 laps.
- Surface textures include concrete, asphalt, cobblestone, and packed dirt with distinct audio feedback.
- Track barriers are modeled as deformable objects: tire walls, metal guardrails, and concrete blocks.
- Pit lane is functional but not mandatory; entering it resets the car to default grip and speed.
- Lap timer displays current lap, best lap, and delta time to the previous best lap, updated every 0.1 seconds.
Car Customization and Performance Tuning
The garage contains 8 base car models, each with distinct weight, horsepower, and handling characteristics. Every car can be modified in the tuning section. Changes affect the physics model in real time.
- Engine tuning adjusts horsepower (range: 100 to 600 HP) and torque curve via a 3-point graph editor.
- Suspension settings include spring stiffness (5 levels), ride height (3 levels), and anti-roll bar stiffness (on/off).
- Tire selection offers soft, medium, hard, and wet compounds, each with specific grip and wear multipliers.
- Aerodynamics are controlled by front and rear wing angle (0 to 15 degrees), affecting downforce and drag.
- Weight reduction removes interior panels, seats, and sound deadening, reducing total mass by up to 120 kg.
Game Modes and Progression
Three core modes are available from the main menu. Each mode tracks separate statistics and leaderboards.
- Time Attack mode: single car, single track, 5 laps. Best lap is recorded. No opponents.
- Race mode pits the player against 7 AI opponents with adjustable difficulty (Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert).
- Endurance mode runs for 24 laps with mandatory pit stop for tire change every 8 laps. Fuel consumption is simulated.
- Ghost car feature in Time Attack loads the best lap from any player on the global leaderboard.
- Rewind function in Practice mode lets the player reverse time by up to 10 seconds, usable twice per session.
Technical Specifications and Performance
SpeedCar targets a consistent 60 frames per second on devices meeting the minimum requirements. The rendering pipeline uses dynamic resolution scaling to maintain frame rate under load.
- Resolution scaling adjusts from 100% to 50% in 10% increments based on GPU load.
- Texture quality has three presets: Low (256×256), Medium (512×512), High (1024×1024).
- Shadow maps render at 512×512 on Low, 1024×1024 on Medium, 2048×2048 on High.
- Anti-aliasing options: off, FXAA, MSAA 2x, MSAA 4x.
- Audio uses stereo engine sounds sampled from real vehicles at idle, 3000 RPM, and 6000 RPM.

Technical Disclaimer
This game requires an active internet connection for leaderboard functionality and content updates. In-app purchases are available for additional car models and cosmetic items. SpeedCar is rated for ages 12 and older due to competitive online interactions and mild simulated violence. Data usage varies by session length and leaderboard activity. Minimum Android version 2.2.x is required. Performance may vary based on device hardware and background processes.
