Core Gameplay Mechanics

• Vertical Combat System: Engage enemies on the ground, then scale the sides of buildings to gain tactical advantage. Use web-slinging to reposition mid-combat, creating distance from melee attackers or closing in on ranged foes.
• Gang Territory Control: The map is divided into 15 districts. Each district generates passive income and resources. To claim a district, you must defeat its gang leader in a boss fight, then defend it from counter-attacks.
• Web-Swinging Navigation: A physics-based traversal system. Tap and hold a building surface to attach a web line, then swing with momentum. No collision clipping — every swing path is calculated in real-time against the environment geometry.
• Stealth and Assassination: Use ceilings and dark corners to perform silent takedowns. A stealth meter indicates detection risk. Successful assassinations remove enemies without triggering alarms, allowing you to thin enemy ranks before open combat.
• Gear and Weapon Crafting: Collect scrap metal, electronics, and chemical compounds from defeated enemies and loot crates. Craft upgrades for your web-shooters, armored suit, and melee weapons at safe houses. Each upgrade modifies specific stats: web range, armor durability, or attack speed.
• Vehicle Hijacking: Certain missions require ground travel. Approach any civilian or gang vehicle and press the hijack button. A quick-time event determines success. Stolen vehicles provide temporary speed boosts and ramming capabilities.
• Safe House Customization: Three safe houses are available across the city. Each can be upgraded with weapon racks, medical stations, and security systems. Upgraded safe houses provide passive health regeneration and reduced weapon repair costs.
