Description Titan Slayer

Turn-Based Strategy Meets Deck-Building Roguelike

You are not controlling heroes directly — you are drawing cards from a deck. This single mechanic shifts the entire tactical paradigm: every move, every block, every counterattack depends on the cards you hold. In Titan Slayer, a poorly timed draw or a miscalculated defense can end your run instantly. The game forces you to think several steps ahead, because the enemy’s next attack is displayed plainly — and you must react with the right card at the right moment.

Core Combat Mechanics

The battle system in Titan Slayer follows a card-based turn structure similar to Slay the Spire, but with a party management layer reminiscent of Darkest Dungeon. Each enemy shows its upcoming action: a damage value, a debuff, or a shield. You see the number — for example, an incoming 20-point hit — and you must decide whether to block it with two defense cards (each typically worth 10 points) or take the damage and conserve cards for offense. Unused block points do not carry over to the next turn, so every point of mitigation must be used immediately or lost.

  • Each battle displays enemy intent (attack type and damage value).
  • Block cards provide fixed protection; unused block points expire at turn end.
  • Attack cards deal damage directly; critical hits depend on card rarity and hero stats.
  • Status effects (poison, stun, vulnerability) are applied via specific cards and persist across turns.

Campaign Structure: Persistence and Pressure

The campaign consists of over 30 levels, each containing a series of battles that escalate in difficulty. Your heroes do not heal between fights. This creates a persistent attrition system: every point of health lost is permanent until you spend resources at a campfire or shop. To heal, you must sacrifice an asset — gold, a card, or a consumable item. The trade-off is deliberate: you can push forward with wounded heroes or weaken your deck to restore their HP.

  • 30+ levels, each with 4-6 consecutive battles.
  • Three difficulty tiers per level (Normal, Hard, Nightmare).
  • Bonus rewards for completing higher difficulty tiers (extra cards, gold, hero shards).
  • Boss fights at the end of each level; bosses have unique attack patterns and require specific counter-decks.

Hero Collection and Progression

You start with five heroes, each equipped with three unique action cards. As you progress, you unlock additional heroes from treasure chests and level rewards. The total roster exceeds 40 characters. Each hero has a set of innate cards that do not change when they level up — only their base stats (HP, attack, defense) improve. This means that a level 1 hero and a level 10 hero have the same card pool, but the higher-level version deals more damage and survives longer.

  • 40+ unlockable heroes, each with 3 unique cards.
  • Hero levels increase base stats only (HP, ATK, DEF).
  • Hero shards are required for unlocking and upgrading.
  • Duplicate cards from chests convert to shards for the corresponding hero.

PvP Mode: Competitive Deck Testing

Once you reach level 5 in the campaign, the PvP arena unlocks. Here, you face other players’ decks in asynchronous battles. The matchmaking system pairs you with opponents of similar trophy count. Wins grant arena points and seasonal rewards; losses cost nothing. PvP uses a separate energy system, so you can grind without affecting campaign progress.

  • Unlocks at player level 5.
  • Asynchronous battles against other players’ decks.
  • Trophy-based matchmaking; no penalty for losing.
  • Seasonal leaderboard resets with new rewards.

No Ads, Full Focus

The game contains no interstitial or reward-based advertisements. All progression is driven by gameplay and in-app purchases. The absence of ads keeps the turn-based flow uninterrupted — no forced video breaks between battles.

Technical Details

The game requires an active internet connection for all modes, including single-player campaign. In-app purchases range from $0.99 to $49.99 for currency packs, hero bundles, and premium chests. Save data is stored on the server; uninstalling the app will erase local progress unless linked to a Google Play account.
