Description Township
Township: Build a Farm and a City in One Game
Township combines two simulation genres into a single experience: you manage a working farm while simultaneously constructing a full city with infrastructure. The game starts you on a small plot of land where you plant crops, raise animals, and produce goods. As you earn income from harvests and factory output, you purchase additional land, construct residential buildings, and expand into a sprawling urban center.
Core Gameplay Mechanics
The primary interaction model is drag-and-drop touch controls. You tap to plant seeds, swipe to harvest fields, and drag buildings to reposition them. All actions are performed through direct screen interaction — no complex menus or multi-step commands. The game runs entirely on touch gestures optimized for tablets and phones.
Visible progression system: Unlike many simulation games where growth happens behind the screen, Township shows every change. A small village with wooden houses gradually transforms into a city with skyscrapers, monuments, airports, and full road networks. The visual difference between early and late game is substantial.
Production chains: You grow wheat, corn, and sugarcane in fields. These raw materials feed into factories — bakeries, textile mills, dairy plants — which produce finished goods. Goods are then used to fulfill orders from the train station, helicopter pad, and cruise ship. Each completed order earns coins and experience points.
City management: Residential buildings house citizens who pay taxes. You build community buildings (schools, fire stations, parks) to increase population capacity. More citizens unlock new factories, expansions, and decorations. The city grid supports roads, sidewalks, and landscaping elements.
Multiplayer features: You can visit friends' towns, send gifts, and trade goods through the cooperative (co-op) system. Co-ops participate in regatta events where teams complete tasks for rewards. Leaderboards track progress across all active players.
