The core of Verity: The Chosen is a branching, choice-driven RPG that combines real-time tactical combat with deep character customization. The game uses a dynamic dialogue system that tracks over 200 player decisions, each feeding into a reputation matrix affecting four major factions: the Order of Light, the Shadow Cabal, the Free Merchants, and the Wild Tribes. Your alignment with these factions unlocks exclusive quests, unique gear sets, and alternate endings.

Combat is turn-based with a positional grid system. You control a party of up to four characters, each with a class-specific skill tree (Warrior, Mage, Rogue, or Healer).
