Poweramp is the Android audio player engineered for uncompromised format support and precision audio control. It decodes a comprehensive range of file types without conversion, including MP3, MP4, OGG, WMA, FLAC, WAV, APE, WMV, TTA, MPC, and AIFF—covering everything from compressed streaming standards to high-resolution lossless archives.
The player integrates 10 purpose-built graphical equalizers, each optimized for the specific frequency profile of the formats listed above. These are not generic presets: they are tuned per codec to minimize distortion and maximize clarity. Users can further modify any equalizer band, create custom presets, and save personalized audio profiles for different listening environments—such as car, headphones, or loudspeaker.

- Customizable lock screen – Replace the default Android lock screen with a Poweramp widget. Optionally enable direct unlock from the music screen, bypassing the lock screen entirely when a track is active.
